Umuahia, June 1, 2025 — The immediate past Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has extended warm greetings to the good people of Abia State as they usher in the month of June.

In a heartfelt message released early Saturday morning, the former Speaker expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and called on Abians to embrace peace, unity, and hard work as the keys to sustainable development in the state.

“As we begin this new month, I want to sincerely wish all Abians a joyful and prosperous June. Let us continue to look out for one another, support good governance, and remain hopeful for a better tomorrow,” Rt. Hon. Orji stated.

He emphasized the importance of community spirit, urging residents to remain committed to the growth and development of Abia State, regardless of their political, ethnic, or religious leanings.

Rt. Hon. Orji, who represented Umuahia Central Constituency and led the 7th Abia Assembly with distinction, reiterated his continued commitment to the welfare of Abians. He encouraged youths to stay focused, avoid social vices, and take advantage of opportunities in education, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

“Abia is blessed with great minds and endless potential. This new month, let us all renew our commitment to building the state of our dreams,” he concluded.
