One Good Turn Deserves Another: Group Declares Vote of Confidence on Hon. Amobi Ogah, Vows to Return Him in 2027

Umunneochi/Isuikwuato – Friday, June 21, 2025

A political support group under the banner of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Progressives Forum (IUPF) has declared an overwhelming vote of confidence on Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, the member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Speaking during a solidarity rally in Umunneochi LGA, the group described Hon. Ogah as a man of the people whose leadership style has brought unprecedented development and federal attention to the constituency.
Coordinator of the group, Comrade Ifeanyi Kalu, while addressing the crowd, said:

“One good turn deserves another. We are proud of Hon. Amobi Ogah for his sincerity, accessibility, and visible projects across the constituency. He has broken the jinx of neglect and marginalization. In 2027, we shall return him with our votes, no shaking!”


The group cited various projects and interventions initiated by the lawmaker, including rural electrification, federal job opportunities for youths,  educational support programs, and empowerment schemes and farmers.

In their separate remarks, community leader praised Hon. Ogah for his humility and willingness to listen to constituents.

Mrs. Nnenna Okwara, Women Leader for Good Governance, noted:

“For the first time in a long while, our voices are heard in Abuja. We will stand by him again come 2027.”

Reacting to the declaration, Hon. Ogah who was represented by his Special Assistant on Strategy, thanked the group for their show of love and promised to continue delivering dividends of democracy to every corner of the constituency.

> “Our commitment to the people is unwavering. This confidence will only inspire us to do more. We see your support, and we are grateful,” the representative stated.

The gathering ended with a symbolic “2027 Return” banner unveiling, drumming up momentum ahead of the next electoral cycle.
