The Abia State Government wishes to inform the general public that the official launch of the Abia State Integrated WASH Accelerated Programme (AIWAP) and the flag-off of the rehabilitation of the Aba Regional Water Scheme, initially slated for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, has been postponed.

The new date for the event is now Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

This rescheduling follows the declaration of a public holiday by the Federal Government in honour of the late former President of Nigeria, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, who will be laid to rest on the previously scheduled date.

The government sincerely regrets any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciates the public’s understanding.
