Scripture Reading:
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” – Isaiah 49:15
Reflection:
Life sometimes makes us feel forgotten, by people, by systems, even by God. We pray and wait, yet answers seem delayed. But today’s scripture is God’s gentle reminder that His memory is not like ours. The One who created you cannot misplace your destiny. He carries you on His palm; your name is engraved there.
Joseph in prison may have felt forgotten, yet God was silently arranging the palace. Hannah’s long years of barrenness felt like silence, yet her story ended with laughter and testimony. Delay is not denial, and silence is not absence.
Takeaway:
When you feel abandoned, remember: people may forget you, but God never does. Your season of remembrance is closer than you think.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being the God who never forgets. Strengthen my faith to trust Your timing and keep my hope alive. Let this new week carry the fragrance of divine remembrance in my life. Amen.
