EFCC Declares Businessman Abdullahi Bashir Haske Wanted for Financial Crimes

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a wanted notice for Abdullahi Bashir Haske, a businessman and son-in-law of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. The declaration follows allegations of criminal conspiracy and money laundering against him.

Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, confirmed the issuance of the notice, urging members of the public to assist in locating Haske and report any information to the nearest police station or EFCC office throughout the country.

The EFCC stated, “The public is hereby notified that ABDULLAHI BASHIR HASKE, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of Criminal Conspiracy and Money Laundering.”

Haske, 38, was last known to reside at properties in Ikoyi and Victoria Island, Lagos. In its appeal for assistance, the commission emphasized the importance of credible information and reminded citizens that tips could be submitted through its offices in major cities, including Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.

For those with information, the EFCC has provided contact details, including a telephone line and an email address, for sharing leads on Haske’s whereabouts.
