Nigerian Government Warns Against Fake Cowbell Milk in Circulation

The Federal Government has alerted Nigerians to the presence of counterfeit Cowbell “Our Milk” in markets nationwide.

In a statement released on Friday, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) confirmed the development, following reports from Promasidor Nigeria Limited, the authorised manufacturer and distributor.

According to NAFDAC, the fake product closely mimics the original Cowbell “Our Milk” 12g sachet but is unsafe for consumption.

“The use or consumption of counterfeit Cowbell ‘Our Milk’ poses serious health and safety risks,” the agency warned, urging consumers to remain vigilant and report suspicious products.
