The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), under Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), has eliminated no fewer than 35 terrorists in precision strikes on Kumshe, a border community between Nigeria and Cameroon.

NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, disclosed that the operation was conducted in the early hours of Saturday, August 23, 2025, following credible intelligence on terrorist movements in the area.

He explained that the air component launched successive precision strikes on four identified assembly points, neutralising over 35 fighters, while ground troops confirmed the success of the mission after re-establishing communication and stabilising the area.

Ejodame added that the strikes disrupted terrorist logistics and movement routes in the North East, enhancing synergy between air and ground forces.

Commending the operation, Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, lauded the professionalism of the aircrew and reaffirmed the NAF’s commitment to sustained intelligence-driven operations aimed at degrading terrorist threats to Nigeria’s sovereignty.
