Paris Saint-Germain have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Nigerian international Rasheedat Ajibade. The club confirmed the move on Tuesday, revealing that the 25-year-old forward has signed a contract that will keep her at the club until June 30, 2027.

“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Nigerian striker Rasheedat Busayo Ajibade, who has joined the club on a deal that runs until 30th June 2027,” PSG wrote in an official statement.

Born on December 8, 1999, in Mushin, Lagos, Ajibade arrives from Atlético de Madrid, where she played since 2021 following a stint in Norway with Avaldsnes IL. During the 2024–25 season, she made 25 appearances, netting eight goals and providing three assists.

Ajibade first rose to prominence with FC Robo Queens and was named Nigeria’s NFF Young Player of the Year in 2018. Now a key figure in the national team, she has captained the Super Falcons to victory in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in both 2018 and 2024. She also featured prominently at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, amassing over 30 international caps.

Speaking on her transfer, Ajibade expressed her excitement:
“I’m deeply honoured to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a top-drawer club in Europe. This is a major step for me, and I’m committed to giving my all to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, be they in Nigeria or elsewhere.”
