Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Thursday, paid a courtesy visit to former President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.

Obi, who confirmed the meeting in a post on his official X handle, described Jonathan as an “elder brother, statesman, and leader.”

He noted that their discussion was fruitful, centering on pressing national issues and the current state of the nation.

While details of the meeting were not made public, the former Anambra State governor’s visit is seen as part of his ongoing consultations with key political figures across the country.
