Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has praised President Bola Tinubu for reinstating Governor Siminalayi Fubara, an action he states will ensure lasting peace in Rivers State.
The minister stated the President’s move to resolve the political impasse reaffirms his dedication to peace and democratic principles, noting that his timely intervention stabilized the state.
In a Wednesday statement by his aide, Lere Olayinka, Wike said the President’s action has strengthened the trust of Rivers people in his administration.
He commended the state’s residents for their faith in the President and their support for his efforts to steer the nation toward progress.
Wike urged all stakeholders to collaborate harmoniously for the collective good of the state and its people, warning troublemakers and opportunists to steer clear. He declared, “Henceforth, the only news from Rivers State will be of peace, progress, and development.”
