Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has been named the fourth-best goalkeeper in the world in the 2025 Ballon d’Or Yashin Trophy rankings.
The award ceremony, held in Paris on Monday, saw Chelsea and England shot-stopper Hannah Hampton crowned the world’s best, while Gotham FC’s Ann-Katrin Berger secured second place. Barcelona’s Cata Coll finished third, with Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar completing the top five.
Nnadozie, now playing for Brighton & Hove Albion in England, has continued to shine on both club and international stages. She played a key role in Nigeria’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and was previously named the 2024 UNFP Goalkeeper of the Season during her spell with Paris FC, where she also lifted the Coupe de France Féminine.
