First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has reiterated the Federal Government’s commitment to improving maternal and child healthcare, stressing that no mother should lose her life while giving life.

She made the remark in Gombe State on Thursday while commissioning the 100-bed Senator Oluremi Tinubu Maternal and Child Specialist Hospital, a project of the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs).

“This hospital is not just a building; it is a doorway to life, hope, and a healthier future for mothers and children,” she said, noting that maternal and child health remains central to President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The First Lady also inaugurated the New College of Nursing and Midwifery, Gombe, expressing confidence that the projects would significantly reduce maternal and infant mortality in the state and Beyonce.
