Borno Leads as Over 8 Million Nigerians Complete Online Voter Pre-Registration — INEC Data

Fresh data released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shows that over 8 million Nigerians have completed their online pre-registration for the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) since the process began.

According to the figures, Borno State leads the nation with 826,130 pre-registrations, followed by Osun (646,580) and Lagos (604,819). Other top-ranking states include Kebbi (581,135), Kaduna (510,490), and Ogun (510,062).

At the lower end of the chart are Abia (11,221), Edo (11,570), and Ebonyi (13,979), recording the least number of online registrations.

In total, 8,003,196 Nigerians have pre-registered through INEC’s online platform, signaling growing civic participation ahead of the next general elections.
