The women’s wing of the Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG), a support organisation within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu’s record in reviving the economy and empowering women in governance will ensure a smooth path to a second term in 2027.
Speaking at an event in Ondo town, Ondo West Local Council headquarters, AMG coordinator Yetunde Adeyanju said the group’s mission is to mobilise women across all 18 local councils in Ondo State to support the President. The campaign, she noted, was guided by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and focuses on educating women about Tinubu’s achievements.
“Our mandate is to reach all 18 local governments of Ondo State, mobilise our women, and highlight the accomplishments of President Bola Tinubu. We are here to ensure that every woman votes for him in 2027,” Adeyanju said.
Olumuyiwa Asagunla, Director-General of AMG, added that grassroots mobilisation is key to securing wide support for Tinubu and the APC. He pointed to the President’s efforts in national development, including projects under the Renewed Hope Agenda and initiatives like NELFUND for students, as evidence of effective governance.
“We are informing citizens about the improvements under the Renewed Hope Agenda, including changes in fuel pricing and other benefits for Nigerians. People have experienced better governance, and it is time to support continuity,” Asagunla said.
The group emphasised that Tinubu’s achievements in human capital development, infrastructure, and economic growth have strengthened the country and reinforced his suitability for a second term.
