Moments after addressing his staff inside the bustling Masters Energy Industrial City, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah paused for a brief conversation with a News Master reporter. What followed was short, vibrant and deeply inspiring.
Reporter:
Sir, you just finished addressing your team. If we go back to the start, where did this whole journey begin for you
Dr Uche Ogah:
(smiles) Those school days were everything. Every classroom felt like holy ground to me. Books opened my imagination. Teachers sharpened my character. I walked into school with curiosity and walked out every day feeling destiny close to me. Those years taught me that knowledge is power and that every lesson becomes a stepping stone to the future.
Reporter:
Wonderful. Let us move into higher education sir. How did your university experience widen the horizon for you
Dr Uche Ogah
Higher education expanded my wings. I pursued accounting and finance with passion. My mind grew sharper and my dreams grew larger. Every hall, every lecture and every examination prepared me for responsibilities ahead. Education became both my ladder and my compass and it helped me discover the strength God planted within me.
Reporter:
And your rise in banking sir. How did that chapter prepare you
Dr Uche Ogah:
Banking was where discipline met opportunity. I entered as a learner and emerged as a leader. I embraced the rhythm of corporate life and learned the weight of responsibility. Through long nights and determined days I climbed steadily until doors of influence opened. Those years groomed me for the world of enterprise.
Reporter:
Which brings us to Masters Energy. How did this amazing empire start
Dr Uche Ogah:
It started as a seed in my heart. God planted the vision. I nurtured it with faith and determination. Today it has grown into an industrial city touching many lives.
Reporter:
You have also served in public leadership. What pushed you to take that step
Dr Uche Ogah:
Service is the highest duty. I felt called to give back on a national level. Public service reminded me that leadership is not for comfort but for impact. I carried the hopes of many and did my best to contribute to the growth of our nation. I served with integrity and commitment.
Reporter:
Looking at the greatness you have built here sir what message does this industrial city send to the younger generation about vision
Dr Uche Ogah:
This city is a reminder that dreams are real when you believe in them. Vision requires patience and persistence. Nothing you see here happened overnight. It began with a thought then a plan then consistent action. I want young people to know that they can build anything if they hold on to faith and hard work.
Reporter:
For the young ones rising today what is your strongest advice to them
Dr Uche Ogah:
My advice is simple. Believe in God. Believe in yourself. Never stop learning. Respect people. Work with integrity. Protect your vision with everything you have. Start small, grow steadily, and never allow fear to stop you. Success is not magic. It is consistency, sacrifice and grace. If you stay focused and stay humble the world will make room for your gift.

With a firm handshake and a warm smile Dr Uche Ogah returned to his staff as machines hummed across the industrial city. The News Master reporter watched him walk away knowing he had just spoken with a man whose journey continues to inspire and whose light still rises from the red earth of Uturu.
