The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved a large‑scale appointment of senior administrators in the state’s public service, naming 32 new Permanent Secretaries to key government departments and agencies. This move is part of efforts to strengthen the civil service, boost efficiency, and improve service delivery across the state’s ministries.
The list of appointees includes experienced career civil servants from various fields who will now take on leadership roles in shaping policy implementation and administrative oversight. The governor’s office said the appointments reflect a broader push to revamp the structure of the state bureaucracy.
These new leadership changes come amid ongoing administrative reforms in Ondo State, where the government has been restructuring its workforce to better align with its development agenda in areas such as public service performance and governance.
Officials emphasised that the appointees are expected to deliver on core government priorities and contribute to improved coordination between ministries, agencies, and departments to benefit residents.
