Danladi and Amusa Named Nigeria’s Top Cricket Players of the Year

Nigeria’s cricket community has celebrated its standout performers of the year, with Isaac Danladi and Kehinde Amusa earning the top male and female player awards at the 2025 Nigeria Cricket Awards.

Danladi, a key all-rounder, impressed with consistent performances in T20 Internationals, showcasing his skills in both batting and bowling. His contributions have cemented his status as one of Nigeria’s leading cricketers.

Amusa, a rising star who also claimed the Young Player of the Year award, has successfully transitioned from under‑19 competitions to the senior women’s team, playing a crucial role in Nigeria’s international matches.

The awards also recognised achievements from Nigeria’s junior teams and coaching staff, highlighting the ongoing growth and potential of cricket in the country.
