The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has announced a major digital skills training programme aimed at equipping 8,400 young Nigerians with technology‑based competencies to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial prospects.
The initiative, part of RCCG’s broader youth empowerment drive, will provide instruction in areas such as web design, graphics, digital marketing, coding, and other in‑demand tech skills. Organisers say the goal is to help participants adapt to the modern job market and take advantage of opportunities in the digital economy.
Participants will receive hands‑on training, mentorship, and access to tools that can help them start their own ventures or compete more effectively for jobs in both local and global markets. Church leaders emphasised that the programme is open to youths from diverse backgrounds and is aimed at fostering economic independence.
Officials also highlighted plans to track beneficiaries’ progress after the training, including support for business development and placement opportunities. The project underscores RCCG’s commitment to supporting young Nigerians in building sustainable careers in the digital age.
