The delegation paid a courtesy visit to the commissioner at his office, where discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the state government and practitioners in the printing sector. Kanu praised the groups for their commitment to maintaining high professional standards within the industry.

He stated that the current administration, led by Governor Alex Otti, remains open to partnerships that can promote innovation, professionalism, and economic progress across various sectors of the state. According to him, collaboration with professional bodies plays an important role in improving governance and service delivery.

The visiting team was headed by Pastor Chimezie Nwarie, Government Printer at the Government Press, who explained that the visit was meant to show support for the reforms and development initiatives currently taking place in Abia State. He noted that improvements in infrastructure and governance have begun restoring public confidence in state institutions.

Pastor Nwarie also revealed that Abia has been selected to host the South East Conference of the Chartered Institute of Professional Printers of Nigeria scheduled for April 6 and 7.
