Neymar Faces Legal Action from Chef Over Alleged Overwork

A former chef who worked at Neymar’s Rio de Janeiro residence has filed a lawsuit, claiming she was forced to work far beyond her contracted hours. She alleges that some shifts lasted up to 16 hours as she prepared meals for the football star and his household.

The chef says her agreement was for standard workdays, but she was often kept late into the evening and on weekends to cater to Neymar’s large household and events, sometimes serving over 150 people. She also claims she was denied proper breaks during her shifts.

She further alleges that the long hours and physical demands of her work caused health issues, including back pain and hip inflammation from lifting heavy supplies and standing for extended periods.

In the lawsuit, she is seeking compensation of around £37,500 to cover unpaid overtime, medical costs, and other damages. Neymar’s representatives have not publicly responded to the claims.
