former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development and President of Masters Energy Group, Dr. Uche Ogah, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-al-Fitr celebration, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, Dr. Ogah commended Muslims for their steadfast devotion, discipline, and commitment to the spiritual obligations of Ramadan. He noted that the period of fasting and reflection embodies values that are essential for building a stronger and more united nation.
Dr. Ogah, a renowned industrialist and business leader, emphasized that Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity, urging citizens to embrace religious and cultural differences as a foundation for national growth rather than division. According to him, unity in diversity remains a powerful tool for fostering peace, stability, and sustainable development.
The former Minister stressed that the spirit of Eid-al-Fitr offers Nigerians a timely opportunity to renew their commitment to peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and collective progress.
He further called on leaders at all levels to demonstrate inclusive leadership and prioritize the welfare of the people, adding that the lessons of Ramadan should inspire greater commitment to justice, equity, and service to humanity.
Dr. Ogah wished Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, encouraging them to continue to pray for the unity, peace, and prosperity of Nigeria while extending kindness and generosity to the less privileged in society.
