Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, has felicitated with elder statesman and distinguished former military officer, General Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu (Rtd), as he marks his birthday.
In a goodwill message released to Newsmen, Dr. Ogah described General Nwachukwu as “a patriotic Nigerian, a shining son of Abia, and one of the most respected voices of truth, courage, and service to fatherland.”
According to Dr. Ogah, General Nwachukwu’s life embodies integrity, discipline, and selfless dedication to Nigeria, both in his military service and political leadership. He recalled the retired General’s illustrious career Serving the nation, noting that his contributions to national unity and diplomacy remain indelible.
“On this special day, I join millions of Nigerians and the good people of Abia State in celebrating a rare gem, a mentor, a living legend and my Elder Brother. General Nwachukwu has lived a life worthy of emulation, one that inspires generations to uphold the values of patriotism, honesty, and hard work,” Dr. Ogah stated.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, strength, and good health for the retired General, urging the younger generation to draw lessons from his exemplary life.
“May the Almighty continue to bless you with wisdom and long life as you remain a beacon of hope and a pillar of inspiration to our people and nation Sir,” Ogah concluded.
