Kwara United’s technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has praised his players for their discipline and commitment in executing the game plan during their 2-0 triumph over Kun Khalifat FC. The victory came courtesy of goals from Aule Shirsha Johnmark and Kingsley Obiora, who sealed the win for the Harmony Boys.

Speaking after the encounter, Sanni described the performance as encouraging and timely. He noted that the game provided a solid platform for his side as they continue to build momentum ahead of continental duties. According to him, the team’s ability to maintain focus throughout the match shows they are ready to face tougher challenges.

Sanni also pointed out that the win was more than just three points, stressing that it was a confidence booster as Kwara United prepare to face Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko, in the CAF Confederation Cup. He remarked that matches like this help his players sharpen their coordination and mentality before stepping onto the continental stage.

The Harmony Boys will next square off against Warri Wolves in a matchday four clash of the domestic campaign. The fixture is set to take place at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro, where Sanni’s men will be hoping to extend their winning run.

After their league outing against Warri Wolves, Kwara United will shift their attention fully to the much-anticipated CAF Confederation Cup encounter with Asante Kotoko. The Nigerian side will be aiming to make a strong impression in Ghana as they continue their push for continental success.
