The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday participated in the Body of Benchers’ procession during the Call to Bar ceremony in Abuja, where his son, Jordan, was formally admitted into the Nigerian Bar.

Wike was joined by his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, as the family marked the milestone. His Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, confirmed the development in a post on X (formerly Twitter), sharing photos and a video of the occasion.

The Call to Bar, organised by the Body of Benchers, is a statutory event that formally admits successful law graduates into the legal profession in Nigeria. This year, thousands of candidates from the Nigerian Law School were officially enrolled as barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria
