Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare has expressed excitement after scoring his first goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers, pledging to find the back of the net more often for the Premier League side.

Arokodare opened his account in Wolves’ Carabao Cup clash against Everton at the Molineux on Tuesday night. The striker, who came on as a substitute for Strand Larsen in the 68th minute, doubled the lead three minutes from time after being set up by Joao Gomes.

The goal sealed Wolves’ victory and booked their place in the next round of the competition. Arokodare’s composed finish also gave fans a glimpse of his attacking potential as he continues to settle into the team.

Taking to social media after the match, the 23-year-old celebrated the milestone. “First goal in gold and we pray for more. Next round, let’s go!! #teatime,” he posted on X.

Would you like me to make the headline short and catchy (like for sports tabloids) or formal and straightforward (like for a news desk)?
