The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Worldwide, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has dedicated a newly constructed one-storey chapel to King’s College, Lagos. The chapel was donated by the MFM Tent Makers Pastoral Ministry, Lagos Region 15 (Victoria Island).

The dedication ceremony, held on Thursday, was attended by senior MFM pastors, members of the college management, teachers, and students.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Olukoya reminded the students that true greatness does not come from influence or status but from God’s favour and personal discipline.

“God does not need VIPs to promote you. He can use anyone — even someone you least expect — to lift you to your next level,” he said.

Sharing a personal testimony from his student years, the cleric recalled how he miraculously secured a Commonwealth Scholarship to study in the United Kingdom, despite applying two months after the deadline. According to him, it was a humble messenger who connected him with the scholarship officer, proving that divine help can come from unexpected places.

Speaking on the principles of success, Olukoya outlined three key pillars for anyone aspiring to greatness: mastery, excellence, and purpose. “If you want to excel in any subject, become a master of it. Whatever you do, do it well — excellence attracts recognition. Finally, understand that every human being is a solution to a problem; once you discover your purpose, opportunities will find you,” he advised.

The event was graced by senior pastors of the MFM Tent Makers Pastoral Ministry, led by Pastor Clement Imoru, as well as the Principal, Vice Principal, and senior staff of King’s College, who expressed their gratitude for the chapel donation.

The MFM Tent Makers Pastoral Ministry has previously undertaken similar projects in educational institutions such as the University of Lagos Staff School, Methodist Boys High School, and Queen’s College, as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility initiatives.
