The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has honoured Masters 105.9 FM with a prestigious award as the Best Rising Radio Station, in recognition of its growing impact and support for the music and entertainment industry.
The award was presented during a well-attended ceremony that drew PMAN national and state executives, industry stakeholders, media practitioners, and music enthusiasts. The event was marked by a lively atmosphere as several artistes mounted the stage to deliver captivating performances, adding colour and excitement to the occasion.
Presenting the award, PMAN officials commended Masters 105.9 FM for its consistent promotion of Nigerian music and for providing a platform that supports emerging and established artistes alike. They noted that the station’s programmes have significantly contributed to the growth and visibility of musicians within and beyond the state.
In his response, the Station Manager of Masters 105.9 FM, Mr. Bright Ejike, popularly known as Igoyan Baba, expressed appreciation to PMAN for the honour. He described the award as a motivation to do more in promoting creativity and professionalism in broadcasting.
Mr. Ejike further assured PMAN of the station’s continued support and partnership, stressing that Masters 105.9 FM remains committed to advancing the interests of musicians and strengthening collaboration between the media and the creative industry.
The ceremony concluded with renewed calls for sustained partnership among media organisations, artistes, and professional bodies to further develop Nigeria’s entertainment sector.
