Renowned gospel music minister, Osinachi Egbu (popularly known as Sinach), and her husband have applauded Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, for his visionary leadership and transformative governance, which they said has repositioned the state across key sectors.
Speaking after a courtesy visit to the Governor at his country home in Umuehim Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South, Sinach praised the Otti administration for its intentional, people-centered and result-driven approach to governance.
“We are from Abia, and we are truly impressed with the exemplary work Governor Otti is doing. He is an intentional leader, and the positive changes across the state are visible. We came to say thank you and to appreciate his visionary leadership,” she said.
She further expressed gratitude to the Governor for his strong support toward the Joseph and Sinach Foundation, particularly in advancing medical outreach programs that have provided life-saving healthcare to residents of the state.
Highlighting some achievements of the administration, Sinach noted improved road infrastructure, environmental renewal, the introduction of electric buses, and increased citizen engagement in governance as clear indicators of progress.
“You can feel the difference. The environment is cleaner, the infrastructure is better, and people are more involved in governance,” she remarked.
She also encouraged upcoming gospel artistes to remain committed to spreading the message of Christ and hinted at plans for a major gospel concert in Abia State soon.
Similarly, her husband, who leads the foundation’s medical mission, described their most recent outreach at the School of Health Science & Management Technology, Aba, as highly successful. According to him, more than 20 major surgeries were carried out, while thousands received medical attention. He described the difference in governance under Governor Otti as “incomparable,” adding that “it feels like this is governance for the first time.”
Addressing online rumours about their marriage, he dismissed them as false, affirming his unwavering love and commitment to his wife.
“This is my wife, and she will remain my wife forever. I am honoured to be called her husband,” he stated.
