Amapakabo Says Mistakes at the Back Led to Abia Warriors’ Defeat to Katsina United

Abia Warriors head coach Imama Amapakabo has admitted that defensive errors were the main reason his team suffered a defeat against Katsina United.

Despite showing attacking intent and creating several chances, Abia Warriors struggled to convert opportunities, allowing Katsina United to capitalise on lapses at the back. Amapakabo stressed that improving concentration and defensive organisation is crucial for future matches.

He added that the team will focus on correcting these issues in training ahead of upcoming fixtures to enhance their performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Fans and analysts have echoed the need for stronger defensive discipline as a key factor in the Warriors’ ability to secure better results this season.
