Galatasaray’s vice‑president, Abdullah Kavukcu, has claimed that Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen’s transfer value has surged to an estimated €150 million, roughly double what the Turkish club paid to sign him last summer.
Kavukcu stated that while many questioned the club’s decision to spend €75 million on Osimhen, his performances have justified the fee and boosted his market appeal.
The Super Eagles striker has been in impressive form this season, contributing numerous goals and assists, which has reportedly drawn strong interest from major European clubs, including sides from Spain, France, and Germany.
Despite the speculation linking him to other top teams, Osimhen has expressed his happiness at Galatasaray and insists he remains focused on his current club. Clubs hoping to sign him would now face paying a premium if Galatasaray were to entertain offers.
