FIFA Introduces Dynamic Ticket Pricing for World Cup Playoffs: Tickets Start at $17

FIFA has announced a new pricing structure for the upcoming World Cup playoffs, with ticket prices starting as low as $17. The governing body is rolling out a “dynamic pricing” model, where ticket costs will fluctuate depending on real-time demand, much like airline or hotel bookings. This approach allows fans to secure affordable access to less popular matches.

However, the strategy also means that tickets for high-demand games are likely to become significantly more expensive as availability decreases. FIFA expects the prices for marquee fixtures, including the final playoff rounds, to rise substantially. The dynamic pricing system aims to balance accessibility and profitability, offering fans an opportunity to purchase tickets at lower prices early on while also maximizing revenue during peak demand periods.
