INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY: Hon. Amobi Ogah Celebrates Resilient Women of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Constituency

The Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Amobi Ogah, has congratulated women across his constituency as the world commemorates International Women’s Day.

In a message released on the occasion, Hon. Ogah praised the women of Isuikwuato and Umunneochi for their resilience, industry, and commitment to family and community development. He described them as the backbone of the constituency’s social and economic life, noting that their contributions in farming, trade, education, healthcare, and community leadership continue to sustain and strengthen the people.

The lawmaker acknowledged the vital role women play in nurturing families, preserving cultural values, and contributing meaningfully to the progress of society. According to him, the achievements recorded within the constituency would not have been possible without the dedication and sacrifices of women who continue to work tirelessly for the wellbeing of their homes and communities.

Reflecting on the 2026 International Women’s Day theme, “Give To Gain,” Hon. Ogah emphasized that the theme highlights the need for greater investment in women through empowerment, education, and equal opportunities. He stressed that when women are supported and empowered, communities experience greater growth, stability, and prosperity.

He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting policies and initiatives that will uplift women within the constituency, including programs that encourage entrepreneurship, education for the girl child, and greater participation of women in leadership and decision making.

Hon. Ogah concluded by saluting the courage, strength, and determination of the women of Isuikwuato and Umunneochi, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of progress and development. He assured them of his continued support and representation as they play their vital role in shaping a brighter future for the constituency and the nation.
