Abia 2027 Governorship Election Aspirant, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu has extended warm felicitations to mothers across Abia State as Christians mark Mothering Sunday, praising their sacrifices, resilience and invaluable contributions to the growth of families and society.

In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu described mothers as the backbone of every thriving home and the moral compass that shapes responsible citizens, noting that the strength of any community is largely anchored on the dedication and nurturing spirit of its women.

He commended Abia mothers for their unwavering commitment to raising children with sound moral values despite prevailing socio economic challenges, adding that their role in sustaining family unity and community development remains indispensable.

According to him, mothers are not only caregivers but also pillars of support whose daily sacrifices often go unnoticed yet remain critical to the stability and progress of society.

Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu further urged government and stakeholders to continue to create policies and programmes that support women, empower mothers and improve their living conditions, stressing that investing in mothers is an investment in the future of society.
