The All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader in Lagos State, Alhaja Iyabosola Eletu, has joined others across the country in celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on the occasion of his 74th birthday, describing him as a democratic icon and a highly strategic leader.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Eletu commended the President’s resilience and long-standing dedication to Nigeria’s progress, noting that his leadership journey reflects a deep commitment to national development.
She said the milestone offers Nigerians an opportunity to reflect on the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, as well as the ongoing economic reforms aimed at repositioning the country.
Eletu highlighted Tinubu’s tenure as Lagos State governor, describing it as a model for effective governance and development.
“Your legacy of transforming Lagos into a global megacity remains a blueprint for the developmental strides we now see unfolding across the Federation,” she stated.
She further praised the President for promoting inclusive governance, particularly his administration’s recognition of women as key contributors to nation-building.
According to her, while some of the current reforms may be challenging, they are necessary steps toward securing a better future for coming generations.
Concluding her message, Eletu offered prayers for the President, asking for continued wisdom to navigate national complexities and good health.
“May the seeds of progress you are sowing today yield a bountiful harvest of joy for all Nigerians,” she added.
