Sir Craig Reedie, a highly respected figure in international sport and Olympic administration, has passed away at the age of 84, closing a remarkable chapter in global athletics.

A former international badminton player from Scotland, Reedie transitioned from competition to sports leadership, serving as chairman of the British Olympic Association (BOA) and playing a pivotal role in London’s successful bid to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
