As preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah, has pledged unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, declaring that Abia State is firmly in Tinubu’s corner.

During a courtesy visit to the State Secretariat of the Renewed Hope Partners in Umuahia, Dr. Ogah made a powerful show of solidarity. He assured the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, that President Tinubu’s victory in Abia was not just likely, but inevitable.

“Our strength lies in unity, and when we are united, success is assured,” Ogah stated. “With the level of commitment and coordination I’ve seen, the President can rest easy, we’ll deliver Abia for him.”

Dr. Ogah’s public endorsement adds fresh momentum to the Renewed Hope campaign structure in the Southeast, signaling a strong regional alignment with Tinubu’s political aspirations.

In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that every expression of support reinforces the administration’s confidence in its vision for Nigeria. He reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to fulfilling the promises of the Renewed Hope agenda and acknowledged the strategic role leaders like Dr. Ogah play in mobilizing grassroots support.

The meeting marks a significant moment in Abia’s evolving political landscape, as key stakeholders begin to align ahead of the 2027 elections.
