The Abia State Radio/Television Executives have expressed grief over the death of Mrs Ozioma Okereke, the Manager of Zik FM, Umuahia.
In a condolence message jointly signed by members of the body, the executives described her passing as a painful loss to the broadcasting industry in Abia State, noting that she was a committed professional who gave her best to the growth of radio and touched many lives through her work.
“Her death is a huge blow not only to Zik FM but to the entire broadcasting family in Abia State. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all who mourn her and pray for the peaceful repose of her soul,” the statement read.
The executives further emphasized that Mrs Okereke’s dedication and leadership qualities will be remembered as an inspiration to younger broadcasters, and her contributions will remain a reference point in the state’s media landscape.
