The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has criticised the Osun State Government over the continued closure of the Oke-Fia flyover in Osogbo, questioning why the structure has remained unused months after construction was completed.
The party said the situation has created public concern and raised doubts about the planning behind the project. According to APM, traffic around the area has continued without major disruption despite the flyover not being opened to motorists.
APM leaders argued that leaving the bridge shut undermines the justification for the project and called on the state authorities to clearly explain the reasons for the delay. They also urged the government to provide details about the project’s cost and timeline.
The party further demanded greater transparency in infrastructure delivery across the state, insisting that residents deserve clear updates on completed and ongoing projects.
