The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has renewed its demand for justice a decade after the 2015 Zaria killings, submitting petitions to the United Nations and other international bodies. The group is calling for an independent investigation into the incident and prosecution of all those responsible.

IMN also seeks the exhumation of mass graves for proper identification and burial of victims, compensation for destroyed property, and restitution for families affected by the violence. Members of the movement say many survivors continue to face physical, emotional, and economic hardship long after the incident.

According to the group, the absence of accountability has deepened the pain of victims and their families. They insist that achieving justice remains critical to national healing and the protection of human rights, warning that unresolved cases of abuse and impunity undermine public trust in the rule of law.
