Tragedy struck the Ohafia community on Friday night as Hon. Igwe Akuma Akwu, a former President-General of the National Association of Ohafia Students (NAOS) and a prominent community figure, was shot dead in his hometown of Oko Aku Ohafia, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.

The killing has thrown residents into mourning, with many describing the late Akuma Akwu as a committed leader who devoted years to youth development and community service. His death has sparked widespread shock and grief across Ohafia and beyond.
