Tochukwu Nnadi Joins Olympique Marseille in €6 Million Move

Nigerian international midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi has completed a transfer from Belgian side Zulte Waregem to French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille in a deal worth around €6 million.

The 22‑year‑old defensive midfielder, a standout performer in the Belgian Pro League this season, flew into Marseille to finalize the move ahead of the winter transfer deadline.

Nnadi’s impressive performances and his recent senior call‑up to Nigeria’s national team during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations helped attract attention from several European clubs before Marseille secured his signature.

The midfielder began his professional career in Bulgaria before moving to Zulte Waregem in early 2024. He now joins Marseille as the club looks to strengthen its midfield options in one of Europe’s top leagues.

This transfer marks a significant step in Nnadi’s career as he adapts to the higher demands of Ligue 1 and aims to make an immediate impact at his new club.
