Dangote Refinery Selects Masters Energy as PMS Offtaker

Masters Energy Oil & Gas Limited has been named among the petroleum marketing companies selected to offtake Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from the Dangote Refinery for distribution across Nigeria.

The development follows the refinery’s bulk PMS offtake agreements with major downstream operators to jointly distribute between 60 and 65 million litres of petrol daily nationwide. The initiative is expected to improve product availability, stabilise supply, and advance Nigeria’s goal of achieving fuel self-sufficiency.

With its inclusion in the offtake framework alongside other key industry players, Masters Energy is well positioned to receive PMS directly from the Dangote Refinery and distribute it through its expanding retail and commercial network across the country.

The arrangement reflects a globally accepted operational structure within the downstream petroleum sector, where refineries focus on refining crude oil efficiently, while licensed marketing companies purchase refined products in bulk at the refinery and manage nationwide distribution.

Masters Energy’s participation further strengthens its commitment to ensuring steady product supply to customers and supporting a more reliable, locally driven energy system.

Masters Energy remains a significant player in Nigeria’s energy industry, with an expanding presence across Sub-Saharan Africa.
