Isaac Fayose, younger brother to former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has commended the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration for what he described as remarkable infrastructural progress in Abuja. He particularly praised the improvements in the water supply and sewage systems under the current government.
In a video shared on social media platform X, Fayose highlighted the ongoing water project in Bwari, where a 198-kilometre pipeline is being laid to enhance access to clean water for residents. “Minister Wike is delivering. Bwari residents have long waited for water, and now it’s finally happening,” he stated.
He further acknowledged the visible transformation across the capital, noting that the APC government’s efforts are changing the face of Abuja. “Let’s be honest, Abuja has been transformed. You can see real projects on the ground. The smiles on people’s faces speak volumes,” he said, suggesting that such developments could boost APC’s popularity in the city.
Fayose also praised Minister Nyesom Wike for his hands-on approach, stating, “Beyond the usual talk, he is performing. A 198-kilometre water line means residents will now get water directly from their taps. The sewage system is also getting a facelift. Abuja is beginning to feel like a foreign city. You can’t get this level of water access in Lagos because of its ocean proximity—but give it to Wike, he’s doing well.”
