According to a statement by the ADC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Jackie Wayas, Baba-Ahmed’s views expressed on Channels TV are personal and do not reflect the party’s stance or that of its coalition partners.

Wayas emphasized that the coalition was formed through extensive consultations with prominent leaders such as Atiku Abubakar, Nasir el-Rufai, David Mark, Rauf Aregbesola, and Rotimi Amaechi.

The statement also highlighted former Vice President Peter Obi’s commitment to the coalition and the adoption of ADC as the platform for the 2027 elections.
