FCTA Appoints Nancy Sabanti Nathan as Acting Head of Service

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has named Mrs. Nancy Sabanti Nathan as Acting Head of Service following the death of Mrs. Grace Adayilo, who passed away last week.

The announcement was made in a statement signed on Tuesday by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media.

Adayilo, appointed by President Bola Tinubu in October 2024, was the first female and first indigenous Head of Service of the FCTA before her untimely demise.

According to the statement, Nathan will serve in an acting capacity until a substantive appointment is made. If later confirmed, she will become the second female Head of Service since the creation of the FCT Civil Service Commission in October 2023.

Before her new role, Nathan was the Permanent Secretary in the FCTA Youth Development Secretariat. She also previously held the position of Director of Finance and Administration in the office of the FCT Minister.

Her appointment takes immediate effect
