Bende, Abia State – September 6, 2025

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bende Local Government Area, Dr. Maduka Okoro, has announced his resignation from the party.

In a letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of Ozuitem Ward, Chief Ibe Chukwu, Okoro stated that his decision was taken after careful reflection on his political journey and future aspirations.

“It has been an enriching experience being part of this political journey, and I appreciate the opportunities I’ve had to engage with many remarkable individuals within the party,” he wrote.

Okoro explained that he was stepping aside from APC to explore new paths and contribute to the growth and development of his community, state, and Nigeria in other capacities.

“While I will no longer be a part of APC, I remain committed to using my skills, experience, and passion to make a positive impact wherever I go,” he added.

The Bende-born politician expressed gratitude to the APC family for the relationships built during his time in the party, while wishing the party continued success and growth.

He concluded his letter with prayers for the prosperity of Ozuitem Ward, Bende LGA, and Nigeria at large.
