A coalition of Christian groups under the Faithful Impact Network has announced plans to distribute one million copies of the Holy Bible across Nigeria in honour of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the organisers, the initiative—tagged “The Light Project”—aims to promote moral renewal, unity, and hope among Nigerians, especially the youth. The gesture, they said, also recognizes Seyi Tinubu’s contributions to youth empowerment and humanitarian causes across the country.

Speaking at a briefing in Abuja on Monday, the Convener of the initiative, Rev. David Olumide, said the Bible distribution will begin in Lagos and Abuja before extending to all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

> “This project is not political; it is an act of faith and gratitude,” Rev. Olumide explained. “Seyi Tinubu’s visible support for charitable works and his encouragement of young Nigerians inspired us to honour him in a way that uplifts the nation spiritually.”

The organisers disclosed that the Bibles will be distributed to schools, prisons, hospitals, and rural communities, with a special focus on reaching underserved areas.

They expressed optimism that the project would strengthen national values and encourage more acts of generosity among the country’s youth leaders.
