Stanbic IBTC Holdings has extended support to children with limb loss by providing prosthetic limbs and educational assistance through its flagship Corporate Social Investment initiative, Together4ALimb.

According to a statement released on Wednesday, the initiative, launched in 2015, has positively impacted the lives of children across Nigeria, assisting underserved children aged 0 to 18 who have lost limbs due to accidents, medical conditions, or congenital disabilities.

In 2025, 64 new children will join the programme, raising the total number of beneficiaries to 200. Each child will receive a custom-fitted prosthetic limb and an education trust valued at N1.5 million to support their schooling and academic goals.

Chuma Nwokocha, Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, said, “We are not just fitting limbs for underserved children; we are enabling futures. Together4ALimb reflects our belief that every child deserves an equal chance to live fully and pursue their dreams, while raising awareness about the challenges faced by our beneficiaries in the communities we serve.”

Wole Adeniyi, Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Bank, added, “Together4ALimb embodies our shared humanity. By supporting these children until they reach 18 years, we witness the power of collective compassion and the long-term impact of consistent assistance.”

Beyond improving mobility, the initiative also provides access to quality education, helping children build brighter and more secure futures for themselves and their families.
