Clifford University, Ihie, Abia State, is set to welcome notable industrialist and former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Samson Ogah (Ph.D., FCA, CON, OON), as the keynote speaker for its distinguished Eminent Personality Lecture Series.
The lecture is slated for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the university auditorium, starting at 9:00 a.m. prompt.
Dr. Ogah, a respected oil magnate and philanthropist, is widely recognised for his extensive community development efforts across Abia State. His projects include rural electrification in Uturu, the construction of modern housing units for his community, and the development of a 5,000-seat auditorium at the Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu.
In addition to his achievements in business and philanthropy, Dr. Ogah has played an active role in Abia politics, contesting for the governorship position on multiple occasions.
According to Clifford University, the Eminent Personality Lecture Series aims to inspire both students and the public by engaging accomplished leaders known for their contributions to national development and exemplary service.
