Former Minister Uche Ogah Boosts Clifford University with ₦10m Donation, Employment Offer

Clifford University, Ihie in Abia State, marked a memorable occasion on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, during its Eminent Personality Lecture Series, where former Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Samson Ogah (Ph.D., FCA, CON, OON), delivered the keynote address. The event drew significant attention from students, staff, and distinguished guests who gathered to hear from the renowned industrialist and public figure.

During his address, Dr. Ogah announced a generous ₦10 million donation to the institution, describing it as his contribution to the growth of quality education and the empowerment of young people in Abia State and beyond. In addition to the financial support, Dr. Ogah unveiled a major opportunity for students of the university’s Accounting Department.
